The Pentax XW3.5 spotting scope eyepiece is a fixed 3.5mm telescope lens for the Pentax 65- (111x) and 80mm (144x) ED spotting scopes. Made with the same ED glass as the scopes themselves, the XW3.5 eyepiece provides high-resolution images with minimal distortion or chromatic aberration. The Pentax XW3.5 eyepiece is a fully multi-coated lens that is weatherproof to meet Japan Industrial Standard Class 4 specifications. All XW models feature a 70-degree apparent angle of view. Laminated optical elements are treated with the innovative partial coating, which offers much higher light transmission capability than conventional full-surface coating. Thanks to advanced computer simulation technology, internal reflections are drastically reduced to produce brighter, clearer images.
